Getting Started
I registered for the site, but I'm not sure what to do next.
Great! You've completed the first step. Now:
- Click on "Find a Match"
- Browse available musicians or locations
- Request performances with specific set times
- Send a message to confirm interest and coordinate details
💡 Tip: If you already have a fully organized event (both artist and venue are ready to go together), create separate profiles for each and match them together.
Making Matches
I made lots of performance requests, but I haven't heard back. How do I finalize?
Key tips for successful matching:
- Request a specific set time — requests spanning several hours are confusing
- After requesting, send a message to discuss details
- Promptly decline requests you don't plan on accepting — this helps everyone plan
- Once your schedule is set, uncheck "accept requests" in your profile
Confirmation
My match says "Pending Admin Confirmation." What do I still need to do?
Don't worry — you're all set!
There are two levels of confirmation:
- First: Both the artist and venue sign off on the performance time
- Then: Make Music Vermont staff confirms to ensure no scheduling conflicts
If both the venue and artist have confirmed, you're good. Staff confirmation might take a few days, but we're on it.
