What Makes a Good Location?
- Porches and yards — Classic Make Music Day!
- Storefronts and businesses — Draw foot traffic and new customers
- Parks and town greens — Community gathering spots
- Farms and orchards — Uniquely Vermont
- Libraries, churches, and community centers — Indoor options for any weather
- Restaurants, cafes, and breweries — Pair music with food and drink
What to Consider
- Do you have access to electricity? (Not required — acoustic music works great!)
- Is there shade or shelter available?
- How much space is there for performers and audience?
- Is there parking or foot traffic nearby?
- Any noise restrictions or permits needed? (Most acoustic performances on private property need none)
